Confidentiality Policy
This policy sets expectations for business information, contacts, leads, internal messages, opportunity details and sensitive operational or commercial material.
Confidentiality is protected by behaviour, agreements and controls. A public website can state the standard, but it cannot replace the documents and processes that enforce it.
Authorised Access Principles
Access should be limited to people with a legitimate reason to receive the information.
Recipients should check the classification and intended audience before forwarding, copying, capturing or discussing material.
Confidential information should not be placed in public channels, public repositories or uncontrolled shared spaces.
Where uncertainty exists, the correct response is to pause, clarify permission and use an authorised route.

- Do not copy, forward, capture, reproduce or disclose confidential material without permission, except where required by law.
- Do not use confidential information for a purpose outside the reason it was shared.
- Do not move sensitive material into public repositories, public webpages or uncontrolled chat groups.
- Report misdirected or wrongly received confidential information promptly.

Confidentiality obligations may also come from contracts, confidentiality agreements, employment terms, supplier agreements and law.
Confidentiality Has Limits
Confidentiality is used to protect legitimate information, relationships, opportunities and internal standards. It must never be used to hide unlawful conduct, misrepresentation, fraud, stolen property, restricted goods, unsafe activity or unauthorised dealing.
